At least eight people died of the H1N1 virus in Georgia, according to the head of the country's public health center on Friday.
Amiran Gamkrelidze, director general of the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health of Georgia, said that there was no outbreak in the country, while the deceased who contracted the viruses were suffering from various chronic diseases.
Gamkrelidze added that the virus would not become an epidemic.
