Ethiopian Orthodox Christians celebrate the festival of Timket, or Epiphany, which commemorates the baptism of Jesus in the Jordan.
In the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa, thousands of worshipers marched through the streets Friday, just before the festival, on the Jan Meda sports field.
