Altus Strategies announced the discovery of the Simret silver prospect on its 412 km 100% owned2 Volcanogenic mbadive sulphide project of Daro Cu-Au-Ag located in the regional state of Tigray, in northern Ethiopia.
"We are delighted to announce the discovery of the Simret prospect. Our exploration revealed very high levels of silver, including 944 g / t Ag, 540 g / t Ag, 277 g / t Ag and 191 g / t Ag from quartz vein sampling. by chips, "commented Steven Poulton.
"These veins also yielded gold grades of 3.55 g / t Au, 2.56 g / t Au and 2.11 g / t Au as well as lead levels of 2.72% Pb and 2 , 73% of Pb.
"The geological mapping and sampling of watercourses indicate that the potential reach of the Simret prospect is about 2.8 km and 0.5 km wide.
"The deposit is located approximately 3 km south of our existing Teklil deposit, and in Teklil we have mapped copper oxide mineralization and a discontinuous nauseating outcrop over 900 m in length.
"In parallel with this field program, we engaged the Geosense remote sensing consulting firm (the Netherlands) to carry out a multi-spectral remote sensing badysis of the Daro license using Sentinel satellite data.
"This work has generated many occurrences of iron oxide on the Daro license, which may represent key VMS markers. Our exploration team is already following these other targets. "
