The Uganda Cranes will face Kenya's Harambee Starlets in the opening game of the CECAFA Women's Championship on Thursday, July 19 when the competition kicks off in Kigali, Rwanda.

The last time the tournament was held in Uganda, Crested Cranes finished fourth after losing to Ethiopia in third place. Bulega hopes to lead the camp to a better end this time.
The tournament will be honored by five host teams from Rwanda, reigning champions in Tanzania, finalists in 2016 in Kenya, Ethiopia and Uganda.
