El-Gouna announced the signing of former midfielder Anzhi Makhachkala and the current Ethiopian international Gatoch Panom.
For his part, Mekelle Kenema FC joined El-Gouna to sign a three-year contract that will keep him at the club until 2021.
Panom began his career at Ethiopian Coffee Addis Ababa, before He settles in Anzhi Makhachkala in July 2017.
He spends only eight months in Russia, representing Anzhi just once in the cup, then returns to his native country, signing for Mekelle Kenema.
He was crowned 29 times by Ethiopia, made his international debut in 2012 and scored six goals.
Panom becomes the 16th signing of the club alongside Ahmed Magdy, Ahmed Ali, Ahmed El-Shenawy, Ahmed Eid and Mohamed Nagy Ged o, Ahmed Said Okka, Jonathan Ngwem, Kareem Salem, Ramzi Saleh, Omar Radwan and Amr Seadawy
El-Gouna were promoted to the Egyptian Premier League for the first time in three years, next season being their fifth highest level.
