The US Food & Drug Administration warned against "badl rejuvenation" treatments because of potential health and safety risks, including burns and scars

from manufacturers selling treatments of "badl rejuvenation" and devices for treating "conditions and symptoms related to menopause, urinary incontinence or badual function"

The administration stated that some of the procedures use lasers or "energy-based devices" to "destroy or reshape the badl tissue."

"To date, we have not authorized or approved the marketing of energy-based devices to treat these symptoms, or conditions, or symptoms related to menopause, l? urinary incontinence, or badual function, "explained the statement.

The FDA said that it was "deeply concerned ed" people were hurt with these procedures. The agency has reviewed many cases of women being burned, healed, injured and experiencing pain during intercourse after undergoing treatment.

"We have not reviewed or approved these devices for use in such procedures. Thus, the full extent of the risks is unknown. But these reports indicate that these procedures can cause serious harm, "said the FDA.
