The World of the Marvel Cinematic Universe was mbadively modified by "Avengers: Infinity War", but how the situation with Thanos will be resolved in "Avengers 4" is still not clear. With "Ant-Man and the Wasp", we could have some clues about what to expect in the next "Avengers".

The Kingdom of Quantum could hold several possibilities, including a connection with the Soul Stone, and even travel back in time. And these are our badumptions about what the future holds on the basis of this cliffhanger "Ant-Man and the Wasp".

A Soul Stone Connection

We do not know all the ins and outs of the Soul. Stone again, but we can make some badumptions based on the properties of the stone in the Marvel comics universe. In the "Infinity Gauntlet" comic book on which "Infinity War" is based, Soul Stone absorbs and houses the souls of people "killed" by it – so everyone dusted by Thanos is likely still alive in the realm of the world. It seems very possible that the quantum realm could contain a link to the realm of the soul, a path through which Ant-Man can reestablish contact with the heroes who have disappeared from the rest of the universe. In comics, Soul Realm characters are part of the fight against Thanos, so having a way to contact and interact with them could be the turning point in the history of "Avengers 4".

Time

Just before Scott enters the tunnel to the Quantum Kingdom, Janet warns of things that he should avoid within it. One of the things that she clearly mentions: the temporal vortices.

We do not know much about what Janet calls the "time whirlwind," but that sounds like an anomaly that could affect not only Scott's perception of time, but where he ends up in the timeline should he be sucked in one. We have already been told that "time and space" work differently in the quantum realm. And quantum physics has its own implications in actual discussions about time travel. In general, the Quantum Kingdom offers many opportunities for Scott, and perhaps other characters, to go back in time to warn the Avengers of Thanos.

The "time vortex" line is a particularly important potential index. This could be a line of demarcation from Janet to tell us, to the public, that there are a lot of weird things out there in the Quantum realm. But it could also be Marvel suggesting that Janet experienced the effects of a time vortex, and that's how she knows about them.
