Jomo Kenyatta International Airport voted best site in Africa

The Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) was named Africa's Best Airport and 38th Worldwide.

The latest ranking used quality of service, punctuality and pbadenger experience to rank airports around the world.

The AirHelp Score rankings looked at data from December 22, 2017 to March 20, 2018, and included delayed and canceled flights, public reviews from trusted sources, and social media sentiments.

The survey, is a global technology company established in 2013 and provides legal services to pbadengers who have experienced a flight cancellation, delay or overbooking during a trip to the interior or to outside the European Union. In the new rankings, JKIA achieved an overall score of 7.9% out of 10; 8.3 performance on time, quality of service (7.2) and 9.3 on pbadenger sentiment, an improvement over the previous ranking a year earlier.

In last year 's rankings, JKIA achieved an overall performance of 7.1 percent; 7.6% on the quality of the service and 9.2% on the feelings of the pbadengers.

The airport of Addis Ababa, ranked first in Africa and 26th in the world last year, is missing from this year's list. 19659002] Among the largest and busiest airports on another continent, missing items from the most recent list. Hamad International Airport, Doha, Qatar, was ranked number one with an overall score of 8.7, followed by Athens, Greece (8.69), Haneda, Tokyo (8.63), Cologne Bonn, Germany (8.6) and Singapore Changi (8.4).
