MotoGP, Mark: "I'd like a serene race"

Mark never liked the simple things. Even the Saturday sessions, which saw him finish with an almost-expected pole, brought unexpected events to the fore. During the FP4, Marc had to literally make the runway to reach a scooter after his Honda left him without a ride.

"It seems like I can never have a normal day, something always happens – Marc jokes –This time it was the chain, although the problem is not exactly caused by these components. I was in a hurry but the scooter did not come then I started running"

And he did not stop. This setback could have confused things in the garage, but his team reacted quickly.

"They had to improvise and develop a new strategy because we had to finish the qualifying with a bike but with three tires. In qualifying, I pushed because I knew that the other riders would be close and here in Termas, I have more trouble surviving than rhythm, because I work mainly in the preparation of the race"

Despite the problems encountered, the Spaniard has signed his fifth pole in six editions of the GP of Argentina. This is not a bad average, especially since its strength is its pace.

"That's right, I feel good, but it will depend a lot on the weather that it will do, conditions that we will find for the race. My strategy was forced in Qatar, I had to sit behind and see where I could finish while here I have more options, at least on the paper".

Marquez also knows who his main rivals are.

"Crutchlow, Dovizioso, Vinales and Valentino, these are the names in what order we will have to wait and see. At the moment, I do not think it will be easy for me to break, but practice is one thing, the race is another ".

Also because there is a risk of rain, maybe for the race or maybe only in the morning.

"If it was raining, it would be a lottery, an unknown for everyone. My only hope, in this case, is that we can also ride in the wet warm up, to be able to understand something ".

Marc repeatedly showed that he was ready for anything. Last year also saw him exceed his goals.

"It was one of the fastest races of my career, I caught up with so many seconds. Unfortunately, after committing an error at the beginning, the motorcycle went out but the problem was solved. I hope a quieter race this time around ".
