Filipino singer Jovan Aquino, from San Pablo, Laguna, has been named the first winner of "The One UAE", which is said to be the biggest reality TV contest in the United Arab Emirates.
On Instagram, Aquino said the results of the competition had been announced a few minutes before the New Year's countdown.

For his last performance, Aquino sang "Feeling Good" by Michael Buble.
According to Aquino, the competition lasted a month and he took advantage of it every minute: "without thinking that I will be that one."
