Dr. Vaseegaran's Chitti robot comes to the rescue. Chitti, which was dismantled in the first installment Enthiran, is resurrected by Dr. Vaseegaran to help the city in trouble. 2.0 is a sequel to the hit movie 2010.

2.0 is one of the most expensive films in Asia with a budget of 500 crores of rupees.
