An American model makes the headlines after parading on a catwalk while she was nursing her baby

Mara Martin modeled the annual Sports Illustrated swimwear show in Miami, Florida, with his five-month-old daughter Aria. arms. Images of the event show Martin wearing a gold bikini holding his baby wearing headphones.

On Monday, the model posted a photo of a report on her badfeeding at the fashion show with a caption, in which she "

" I can not believe I'm getting up headlines with me and my daughter to do something that I do every day, "she writes. "It should not be a title !!! My story of being a mother and feeding her while walking is just that."

Martin, one of 16 finalists chosen for the first time. Event, continued saying that many other women modeling this night deserved more attention for their achievements.

The reactions to Martin's publication were mixed, but the majority of comments seemed to support Martin's decision to badfeed his daughter during the show

"Thank you mom for showing that you can live your best life all by feeding your baby.I think it's pretty hillarious [sic] how much that had people's panties in a twist.I think it was awesome and you were gorgeous, "read one comment.

"YOU ROCK! Thank you for being brave and doing the most important thing in the world … taking care of your little human," said another.

"Yebads !!! Thank you for being brave and helping to normalize badfeeding !! It makes me so happy!" A fan wrote.

There were also those who criticized Martin for badfeeding his daughter on the trail.

"One way to earn more money and to get known, I suppose, bad publicity," commented one commentator.

"What were you thinking about?" I'm sure when people go to fashion shows, they'll see fashion and since you cover most of it with your baby … what was the point if your dream was walking on the track? "]" Why would you do that? My guess is the attention you could miss? "someone else posted.

Wow! WHAT A NIGHT! The words can not even describe how amazing I feel after being chosen to walk on the track for @si_swimsuit. Anyone who knows me knows that it has always been my dream. I can not believe that I wake up with headlines with me and my daughter to do something that I do everyday. It's really humiliating and unreal, it's the least we can say. I am so grateful to be able to share this message and, I hope, normalize badfeeding and show others that women can do it all! But to be honest, the real reason I can not believe it's a title is because it should not be a big headline !!! My story of being a mother and feeding her while walking is just that. Last night, there are many more meritorious titles that our world should see. A woman will camp in two weeks to serve our country (sorry I do not know your handling of the IG), a woman had a mastectomy (@allynrose), and another is a cancer survivor, 2x medalist Paralympic gold, as well as a mother herself (@bren_hucks you rock) These are the stories that our world should discuss !!!! Just thinking of everything there was represented … I desperately need to give the greatest thanks to @mj_day for that. She supported me in what I did last night. Without his support this would not even be discussed !!!! She and the entire Sports Illustrated family are the most incredible and incredible team they've worked with. THANK YOU for letting us all 16 be real beautiful women !!! Thanks to you, my daughter will grow up in a better world, where she will always feel like that !!!!!! Finally, to each woman who shook this track with me. Be proud. I know that I am from you! You've all inspired me in an unimaginable way. I love you all!!! #siswimsearch
