Greg McLaughlin, President of the PGA Tour Champions, is leading three uncompetitive operations on the PGA Tour, including the supervision of the World Golf Hall of Fame.

The appointment announced Wednesday gives McLaughlin a sprawling role previously held by three people.

"I'm not sure we could have asked for a more qualified and pbadionate leader, given his deep experience and success as a leader in the golf world and beyond," said Jay Monahan PGA.

McLaughlin has just completed its fourth year as a PGA Tour champion, which included a similar Charles Schwab Cup playoff system similar to the PGA Tour. Prior to joining the tour, McLaughlin spent 14 years at the helm of the Tiger Woods Foundation.

McLaughlin will be the Executive Director of the World Golf Foundation, which represents all major golf organizations by supporting a variety of growth-oriented programs and providing access to the game around the world.

He replaces Steve Mona, who will badist McLaughlin in the transition before retiring next year.

McLaughlin also becomes president of The First Tee, a program launched in 1996 that introduces the core value of golf to youth. Keith Dawkins had been General Manager until his departure in October, a year later.

"This restructuring represents an exciting development for the World Golf Foundation, and Greg is the ideal person to take on this responsibility," said Monahan.

McLaughlin's participation in the World Golf Hall of Fame was the most vague.

The tour indicated that Jack Peter, president of the Hall of Fame, would retire at the end of the year. McLaughlin will "strategically lead" the Hall of Fame, which has been striving to attract visitors for 20 years to St. Augustine, Florida.

He also moved his induction ceremony, now every two years, to the same week as the big leagues to attract more attention and more players. It was in St. Andrews in 2015 at the British Open, in New York in 2017 at the Presidents Cup and next summer at Pebble Beach as part of the American Week.

Brodie Waters, Vice President of Business Affairs at the Hall of Fame, will lead the structure, funding and operations under McLaughlin's supervision.

McLaughlin previously held the position of tournament director at the Los Angeles Open and offered Woods his first PGA Tour sponsor exemption. He was also Tournament Director at the Honda Clbadic and Western Open before joining the Tiger Woods Foundation.

Miller Brady, a tour employee for 19 years, succeeds McLaughlin as PGA Tour President. He worked under McLaughlin as chief of operations for this tour.
