Action Settles Over During 72 Karen in Nairobi where 30 Amateurs will be vying for the Karen Masters Golf Tournament of the 2007 Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) which kicks off today. Tuesday (Tuesday).

KCB Road's selected amateur golfers at the Ruiru, Limuru, Eldoret, Nyali and Muthaiga Masters qualifying rounds will compete in the curtain-raising tournament to the main event.

The main event that drew a field of 156 entries including 32 pros and 4 Kenya fans runs from Thursday to Sunday.

This will be a Sunshine Tour tournament with the title sponsor of the $ 150,000 (Ksh.) Kenya Commercial Bank among others.

Angela Mwirigi, KCB's director of marketing and communications, highlighted the importance of the event in Kenyan sports circles, saying KCB Karen Masters remains the Bank's most visible vehicle to share the greatness of the sport.

Matias Calderon (Chile), Ty Capps (United States), Frederik (Sweden) and Antonio Rosado (Portugal) will represent the best golfers of the tournament.
