England lead 1-0 against Italy in the ongoing UEFA Euro 2020 final at Wembley Stadium on Monday. Luke Shaw scored for England early in the first half. England are hoping to end their 55-year wait for the trophy against a formidable Italian side, coached by Roberto Mancini. Gareth Southgate’s side started their campaign as one of the tournament favorites and have played all but one at home. They beat Denmark in the semi-finals. Italy will be aiming for redemption after missing out on qualifying for the 2018 FIFA World Cup. It should also be noted that England have never beaten Italy in a major tournament.
