“We are dealing with an incident which took place in the outside security perimeter of the stadium, with the support of the police,” a spokesperson for the England Football Association told CNN.
“Security measures were quickly activated in the affected areas and there were no breaches of the safety of people without tickets entering the stadium.”
UEFA, the governing body of European football, added: “Everything is under control. They could not enter the stadium.”

In central London, fans gathered to watch the final start to leave Leicester Square as people started to throw beers, PA News reported.
“We just got out of there because it was too much. They’re trying to barricade the road and everything,” Thulase Sivasothy told PA News.
“We were just in Soho now and it’s crazy. There is so much passion in London today,” added Sivasothy.
Another fan, Eric Pinto, told PA News: “People throw beers. But that’s England, that’s how we celebrate. I can’t even imagine what it will be like if we win. . “
UK Metropolitan Police said they saw “people jumping off lampposts or signs”.
“The streets around Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square are full of fans. We have officers on site. We urge everyone to stay safe and look out for each other,” Metropolitan Police tweeted.
