The Euro 2020 final scorer gave security a run for its money.
Adam Harison has been identified as the fan who ran in joy to the pitch at Wembley Stadium in the second half of Italy’s stunning victory over England on Sunday.
The England fan took off with his red shirt in hand and hiked a few NFL-style routes that gave security a hard time trying to catch him. Harison managed to escape a number of stewards before finally being captured in the field.
Players from both teams stood up and watched the fans’ situation put the game on hold. Meanwhile, fans cheered on Harison, and later booed when he was caught.
It is not known if Harison’s daring sprint was reported to authorities, although he appeared to be in good spirits after being pulled over by security. He took to Instagram to share photos and videos captured by spectators from his run, and admitted he doesn’t regret his actions.
“At the end of the day…. I love my country and I did all of this to have a good time. Nothing but love and respect for England tonight. BIG LOVE PEOPLE,” Harison said captioned a photo and two press articles presenting his defining moment.
Prior to his Euro 2020 glory, Harison gained attention as a member of boy group New Priority on the BBC’s competitive show, “Little Mix The Search”.
The singer-songwriter, who has more than 44,000 subscribers on Instagram, with his group, ended up losing to Since September.
