Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling come to adopt an adorable rescue puppy

On Wednesday, the actress announced that she and her actor had adopted a Doberman puppy called Lucho.

"Meet Lucho, the youngest of our family," she subtitled a photo that embraces the new doggie. "We adopted it from this incredible agency called Friends for Life Rescue Network @fflrescuenetwork."

Mendes encouraged his supporters to adopt whether they were looking for a furry friend or donating to the rescue group that she had used.

"If you're looking for a fluffy family member, adoption is a great option – so many little guys need a home," she wrote. "If you can not have a pet but love animals, you can donate to this non-profit organization … Your donation helps keep animals off the streets and from the shelters where they are euthanized."

Lucho, who was born in mid-November 2018 in the relief organization, reports People, has learned to walk only five weeks because of its size.

Mendes often talks about his work with charities for animals, including the Cesar Millan PACK project.
