Apparently, Minnesota Timberwolves forward Evan Turner wants to jump in on the action after watching the YouTube star Jake Paul knocked out former NBA player Nate Robinson in the boxing ring on Saturday.

Paul defeated Robinson by second round knockout at Staples Center in Los Angeles. He landed two hard knocks that knocked down Robinson in the first and second rounds, but the three-time Slam Dunk contest champion got up twice.

Robinson failed to get up a third time after another hard right from Paul, ending the fight in the second round.

We are very unlikely to see Turner step into the ring with Paul, especially since he is an active NBA player with no boxing experience and would need to devote a lot of time to training. Additionally, Turner is 6’6 ” tall and weighs 220 pounds, so the difference between him and the Paul 189 pounds should be addressed.

In any case, Paul has his designs on some of the biggest names in fighting and notably called Conor McGregor and Dillon Danis after the fight, saying he would knock them both out.

As for Turner, the 32-year-old is gearing up for his next NBA season, which is scheduled to begin on December 22.
