Fortnite event fans will soon be attending a brand new live event on Volcano, which, according to leaks, suggests that it revolves around the mysterious Loot Lake hatch.
In anticipation of the new seasons, Epic Games regularly hosts a live Fortnite event. The Volcano event is scheduled to begin today before the launch of the 9th Battle Pass season.
Season 9 of Fortnite is scheduled to begin next week and as the new Battle Pass approaches, a mysterious rune event has taken place.
This saw Fortnite Battle Royale players try to place five mysterious runes appearing on the map in Loot Lake's hatch.
This trapdoor had five locations where Fortnite runes could be placed with different criteria needed to be moved.
The Fortnite rune event preceded the Fortnite volcano event, and the dataminers uncovered details of the upcoming live event.
The live event of the Fortnite Volcano is scheduled to take place on Saturday, May 4 at 3 pm Eastern Time.
For Fortnite fans from other regions, it will be 8 pm in the UK, 9pm (Paris time) and at noon for those in Pacific Time.

As with any other Fortnite live event, it's best to be in a game and where it will take place a few minutes in advance.
It is likely that many people connect at the same time, so you want to make sure that you are in a match and that you have a good point of view right from the start.
If you can not play Fortnite at the Volcano event, many people on Twitch broadcast live the Fortnite event live.

The leaks have already given fans a good idea of what to expect from the upcoming Fortnite live event, also known as the Nexus or Unvaulting event.
It appears that the Fortnite event at Loot Lake will see the eruption of the Fortnite volcano and will result in the destruction of Retail Row and Tilted Towers.
The dated files also indicate the butterfly from another world and the alternative dimension seen during the Fortnite Season 6 live event could also make its comeback.
All major live events have been linked to Fortnite's core story and laid the foundation for the upcoming new season.

And it has been said that the upcoming Fortnite Volcano event – also known as the Snow Event – could lead to the addition of a new card with Fortnite Season 9.
Epic Games had previously revealed that they had new Fortnite cards in preparation, and it looks like a new game space could be launched with the next Battle Pass.
In the Fortnite FAQ page, Epic Games revealed that they were preparing other Fortnite cards.

Answering the question "Will you add more cards?", Fortnite decision makers responded, "Yes, but not right now.
"Currently, we will continue to improve our existing map, including adding more points of interest."
This response has appeared on the Fortnite FAQ page for most of 2018 and for all of 2019 to date.

It may be time to add one of these new Battle Royale cards after the release of Fortnite Season 9.
