Everything is coming to Netflix this weekend (December 4th)

As temperatures continue to drop, Netflix enters the first weekend of December with a few freebies that will give subscribers plenty of excuses to stay warm inside. This weekend, the streaming giant is storing 13 new titles in the streaming library, giving subscribers an early holiday giveaway.

The new additions, all but one of which are Netflix originals, include some highly anticipated titles. On Friday, fans will finally be able to afford the new season of the animated series Big mouth. Subscribers can also channel their inner baker with a festive edition of The great British pastry fair. This weekend will also see some additions perfect for younger viewers. Of course, several new titles for the streaming library are joining Netflix’s holiday lineup, which can be viewed by clicking here.

‘Big Mouth: Season 4’

Prepare for more raging hormones, squeaky puberty developments, and fantastic looks at human reproductive systems as Netflix drops Season 4 of its original animated series Big mouth Friday, December 4. Season 4 of the series will find the group of friends on the verge of eighth year grappling with the torments of summer camps, shady alter egos, new frontiers in makeup, and anxious Tito the mosquito.

‘Captain Underpants Mega Blissmas’

Best friends George Beard and Harold Hutchins shake up Christmas at Captain Underpants Mega Blissmas. The new Netflix Family Vacation Special will find beloved characters stepping back in time to change some of their beloved vacation traditions. Ready to be stored in the streaming library on Friday, Mega congratulations is the latest addition to the Captain Underpants franchise, based on the Day Pilkey book series and follows George and Harold, who transform their director into Captain Underpants, a superhero looking to save the day.

‘The Great British Baking Show: Holidays: Season 3’

Netflix’s mouth-watering pastry contest, The Great British Pastry Fair, returns on Friday with a holiday touch. The third season of The Great British Pastry Fair: Holidays will see competitors from past seasons compete to be crowned Christmas Star Baker. Winning the title won’t be an easy task, however, and bakers will have to wow Judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith with their Christmas baked goods.

‘Pokémon Journeys: The Series: Part 3’

Ash and his Pokémon are back and ready to fight in the World Coronation series while he and Goh continue their research with Professor Cherry in Part 3 of Pokémon Journeys: The Series. Set to be added to the streaming library on Friday, the series follows Pokémon trainer Ash Ketchum, who, after achieving his goal of becoming a Pokémon Master, returns home to Pallet Town in Kanto, where he binds to friendship with his coach colleague Goh. Together, they are hired by Professor Cerise to work in his new research laboratory.

‘Selena: The Series’

Netflix’s highly anticipated series based on the life of Selena Quintanilla, the Tejano star who is still loved by millions of fans more than two decades after her tragic death, drops Friday. Described as a “coming-of-age story,” the limited series follows Quintanilla as she pursues her dreams and chronicles the heartbreaking and life-changing sacrifices she and her family make. The late singer was most famous brought to the screen in the 1997 film, in which she was portrayed by Jennifer Lopez. In Netflix’s account of her life, The walking dead star Christian Serratos as the music legend.
