Four turnovers, nine penalties and a big dose of Kenneth walker iii fatal fate for Miami. An unranked team from Michigan State entered Hard Rock Stadium and largely outscored the Hurricanes. A 21-point explosion in the fourth quarter helped Michigan State out of the No.24 Miami 38-17.

His 14-yard touchdown late in the third quarter reduced Michigan State’s lead to 17-14, but Miami (1-2) couldn’t come close. Payton Thorne completed 18 of 31 passes for 261 yards and four touchdowns for Michigan State. Jalen Nailor torched Miami for four catches, 82 yards and two touchdowns. Jayden Reed had three receptions for 32 yards and another touchdown.
