Four turnovers, nine penalties and a big dose of Kenneth walker iii fatal fate for Miami. An unranked team from Michigan State entered Hard Rock Stadium and largely outscored the Hurricanes. A 21-point explosion in the fourth quarter helped Michigan State out of the No.24 Miami 38-17.

Miami shot themselves in the foot with expensive turnovers and silly penalties. But they couldn’t stop Walker either. The Michigan State running back star made 27 carries and turned them into 172 yards. He added three catches for 17 yards and a touchdown.

Charleston Rambo had 12 catches for 156 yards and two touchdowns for the Hurricanes. His 14-yard touchdown late in the third quarter reduced Michigan State’s lead to 17-14, but Miami (1-2) couldn’t come close. Payton Thorne completed 18 of 31 passes for 261 yards and four touchdowns for Michigan State. Jalen Nailor torched Miami for four catches, 82 yards and two touchdowns. Jayden Reed had three receptions for 32 yards and another touchdown.
