Experts predict that this will be the best deals during Amazon Prime Day

If you feel overwhelmed by Amazon Prime Day, you're not alone. But planning in the future might help: Shopping experts tell you that you can start refining your shopping list to not miss a bargain or, worse, end up with a ton of returns.

The First Day, which begins July 15 and runs for two days this year, offers members (and only members) huge discounts on a wide variety of products. According to a new Profitero study, nearly eight out of ten Prime Members in the United States plan to shop for Prime Day this year, up from 63% last year.

But some offers are better than others, especially if you are looking to buy an expensive item. To help you refine your shopping list and find the best deals, here are five types of products that, according to experts, will yield the most important discounts of the First Day.

Amazon's products have a big impact on Prime Day, so if you're tempted to subscribe to some of its services, including Amazon Music and Kindle Unlimited, now is the time to do it. Amazon already offers a 66% discount on the cost of audible audiobook service. Premium members can get their first three months for $ 4.95 a month.

For groceries, Amazon is offering $ 10 discount on Premium Pantry orders of $ 40 or more. And if Premium members spend at least $ 10 at a Whole Foods store or through Prime Now (grocery retailer's partner) starting July 16, they'll receive a $ 10 credit to use on Amazon for purchases with Prime Day.

"Amazon has a lot of control over the prices of its own brands and it is well known to be willing to accept a short-term loss to gain market share," says Rebecca Lehmann of Brad's Deals at CNBC Make It . "In the past, we've seen Amazon use Prime Day to build brand awareness and visibility, and I think we'll see more this year."

If you plan to use an Alexa-compatible device, such as Echo, arrange the Prime Day Day Monday. "Last year 's Prime Day contract for this device was $ 64.99," Regina Conway, consumer expert for Slickdeals, told CNBC Make It. "We expect this phenomenon will continue to drop around Prime Day." Generally, it costs $ 100.

Ring video tones are already on sale for $ 169, and if you buy one, Amazon will offer you a free Echo Dot. The package usually costs $ 299, so you save $ 130.

Beyond its Echo product line, experts also predict that other Amazon electronics will receive significant discounts, including the Fire TV stick and the Kindle Paperwhite.

Amazon is also collaborating with TV makers, so expect these TVs to be on sale. "I think we'll see big discounts on Prime Day with a special focus on the 55" Fire Smart TV model, "said Lehmann.On last year, the Prime Day deal for the Toshiba 50 Smart 4K Amazon Fire Smart , was $ 399 to $ 290, turned out to be popular. Tiara Rea-Palmer, head of retail sales at CouponFollow, tells CNBC Make It This includes noise suppressors, ear buds and even expensive brands like Beats, which have benefited from discounts of up to 55% of reduction in recent years.

Also be on the lookout for Apple products because Amazon is now an Apple Authorized Reseller. The Apple Watch 4 is already on sale priced at 399 dollars instead of 429 dollars. And the Apple AirPods with wireless charger cost $ 180, which is $ 20 less than the retail price. Lehmann says she's expecting to see discounts for iPad during Prime Day.

Although all electronic products enjoy significant discounts during Prime Day, Skirboll says consumers need to carefully check prices. "Some of the biggest deals of the year in the retail sector for products like consumer electronics are still focused on Black Friday," she says. Unless you see a really good price on an item you need now, you could save more by keeping up items such as TVs, laptops and cameras until November.

Video games offerings will be another area where buyers can save a lot of money, says Rea-Palmer. "Although you probably do not find a sale on a Nintendo Switch, you can probably save with a Switch bundle on the first day," she says. Consumers should pay attention to bundled game offerings for Nintendo, Xbox and PS4. But before you buy, be sure to use all components of the bundle, including games, controllers, or consoles. Otherwise, it might not be good value for you.

Game props will also be important, says Conway. For example, she expects the price of the 35 "UltraWide ViewSonic Elite XG350R-C Curved Gaming Monitor to drop by $ 140 on Day One, from $ 699.99 to $ 559.99.

"Every year, Amazon Prime Day offers incredible offers on blenders, toasters, fruit juices, air fryers, etc., so watch these items in 2019 as well," says Rea-Palmer.

Specifically, Mr. Lehmann stated that consumers should look for significant discounts on kitchen equipment from brands such as KitchenAid, Cuisinart, Breville and Vitamix.
