The Facebook, F8, developer conference is being held today and Facebook has announced a number of upcoming changes on the social network.

At today 's event, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg also said that privacy protection would be more of a priority in the future. Facebook will focus on six principles to make changes to sites and applications in the future: private interactions, encryption, reduced content permanence, security, interoperability, and secure data storage.
