Facebook unlocks the abandoned Oculus Go

The news was announced by John Carmack, chief technology officer of the Oculus board., on Twitter (via the Edge). “We will be making an unlocked OS version available for the Oculus Go headset that can be side-loaded to gain full root access,” Carmack said, noting that he had been advocating this option for years.
