The Atlanta Falcons interviewed Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy on Monday. The interview was conducted remotely.

Bieniemy has been the Chiefs offensive coordinator since he was promoted to running back coach there in 2018. Chiefs head coach Andy Reid, who previously coached Bieniemy while he was head coach in Philadelphia, transferred him to that role after Matt Nagy took the job with the Chicago. Bear.

Last season, the Chiefs ranked first in total yards per game (425.7), first in passing yards per game (309.1) and second in points scored by match (30.1). In 2019, the Chiefs won Super Bowl LIV.

Starting Jan. 4, in-person interviews can begin for head coach and general manager positions with candidates who are not current NFL club employees or whose club is not making the playoffs.

Virtual interviews for all head coach positions can begin with coaches whose clubs take a leave of absence in the first week of the playoffs, and can continue until the wilds close on January 10.

Virtual interviews for top club employees and secondary football management positions can begin. Once a candidate’s employer club is eliminated from the playoffs, in-person interviews can begin.
