We know what you have done. You are meant to bring the baby penguin back to its mother in the winter-themed Super Mario 64 level, Cool, Cool Mountain. But some of you ditched the little guy at the end of the world, and you’re all monsters. Monsters.
Fall guys – the multiplayer board game that was a hit in quarantine 2020 – will apparently include a tribute to the Super Mario 64 penguin in its “Season 3.5” update. The update will add, among others, Bert, Bort and Bart, the “Pegwins” of the Pegwin Pursuit level, to several levels.
Is this a tribute, or is it reckless endangerment of the penguins and a good reason to call the RSPCA? These penguins have mothers, you know.
