Fall Out Boy is pulling out of two dates of their Hella Mega Tour with Green Day and Weezer “due to an individual from the group’s team testing positive for COVID.” The concerts, August 4 at Queens’ Citi Field and August 5 at Fenway Park in Boston, will still be starring Green Day, Weezer and the Interrupters. Representatives for Fall Out Boy made no comment when contacted by Pitchfork.

Fall Out Boy also wrote in their announcement, “It’s important to note that everyone on the entire tour, both the band and the crew, is fully vaccinated. Each group and their team functioned independently in a bubble to protect everyone as much as possible at each show and between shows.

Last month, Foo Fighters canceled a concert in Los Angeles under similar circumstances. The group said the cancellation was due to “a confirmed case of COVID-19 within the Foo Fighters organization.”
