Hannah Brown won “Dancing With The Stars” in the fall of 2019, but more than a year later, she still suffers from injuries sustained while on the show.

“I think this political climate and with COVID has been difficult for all of us and me too,” she said on her Instagram Stories during a light walk. “Usually when I’m having trouble managing my mental health, I can go and work out. Well, for five months, maybe almost six, I haven’t been able to train like I used to.

The “Bachelorette” star noted that her physical and mental health were slowly improving.

“I still go to the doctor and try to figure it out, but I think a lot of my body pain is from issues that started with ‘Dancing With the Stars’ and I just kept going from zero to 100 – I’m either all or nothing – and I’ve pushed it too far where I have now, like, issues that I have to deal with with physiotherapy, ”she said. “So I do that mostly and then I go for walks and bike rides, but honestly, that’s it.”

Hannah quickly added, “To clarify, I’ve always had issues and pain, but I think ‘DWTS’ has put extra stress on those previous injuries.”

In addition to his injuries, the reality TV star admitted that public criticism of his body was not easy to hear or see.

“I’m starting to realize that more people can relate to this girl, the one who struggles,” she shared. “I’m just trying to be more honest about my point of view. I know we all start in different places so some people stress me out they like to point out that I have gained weight some people say I look good but I just want to feel good and I don’t am not feeling good because i haven’t been able to work the way i feel like my body needs it. “

She continued, “So instead of being zero or 100, I’m going to learn to show where I can be now, whether it’s 50%, 60%, 35% my best; you have to start somewhere.”

Hannah, 26, also wrote: “My overall health is my # 1 priority at the moment. So I will continue to do whatever I can for now – try more new training methods (I have always been a HIT workout, cardio athlete high against the wall), learn to adapt and listen to my body, and continue to see a doctor for, hopefully, more clarity soon! “
