December brings holiday cheer and cold temperatures. Only one of these things has an impact on a football game. Now is a good time of year to spend a few minutes each week checking the weather reports before finalizing your queues. Cold temperatures will impact dome teams and squads that usually play in hot cities. Snow is not a problem unless it falls in a pile. Rain is also not that bad unless it rains. The wind, however, is the most important factor. We’ve seen it before this season. If you are starting players in a game with winds over 25 mph, think twice.
