Poco X3 GT official 2 edition

TL; DR

  • Poco launched the Poco X3 GT in several markets.
  • The phone is essentially a renowned Chinese Redmi Note 10 Pro.
  • Expect to pay a starting price of $ 299.

Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 10 Pro to the world earlier this year, but the Chinese version is actually a whole different device. Now the Chinese variant has arrived in wider markets, but with a name change.

The device is known as the Poco X3 GT and also replaces the standard MIUI skin in favor of the MIUI skin for Poco. Otherwise, it is the same device as the Chinese Redmi Note 10 Pro.

Poco’s phone is equipped with a Dimensity 1100 5G chipset (4x Cortex-A78, 4x Cortex-A55, Mali-G77 MP9), 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB to 256 GB of expandable storage. You also get a 5,000mAh battery with 67W wired charging via a built-in charger. The 67W speed means you can expect a full charge in 42 minutes, depending on the brand.

Official edition of the Poco X3 GT

Poco’s device also comes equipped with a 6.6-inch 120Hz FHD + LCD display with Gorilla Glass Victus, a triple rear camera system (64MP main, 8MP ultra-wide, 2MP macro) and a selfie snapper 16MP.

Other notable features include Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6, 5G + 5G dual-SIM, an IR blaster, NFC, two speakers and a side fingerprint scanner.

The Poco X3 GT will be available in Africa, Latin America, Southeast Asia and the Middle East. Pricing starts at $ 299 for the 8GB / 128GB model through “official ecommerce channels,” while the 8GB / 256GB variant will set you back $ 329.

Either way, the combination of a relatively powerful, 5G chipset, 120Hz display with Gorilla Glass Victus, and 67W load looks pretty good for the price. So anyone considering a solid mid-range phone might want to put it on their list of devices to keep in mind.
