FaZe H1ghSky1 publishes a video apologizing for lying about his age

FaZe H1ghSky1 was recently caught in a scandal about his age when the Tfue trial was announced. Following revelations that he was minor to compete and broadcast, Twitch banned his account.

H1ghSky1 was recruited by the FaZe clan while he was only 11 years old. The official age required to participate in Fortnite and broadcast on Twitch is 13 years old.

In a June 6 apology video, H1ghSky1 expressed partial regret for his actions. Do not forget that the person responsible for his acts (in part) are his parents and not himself because of his age.

Twitch recently banned FaZe H1ghSky accounts1 because of his age. The young player is only 12 years old at the moment and Twitch requires 13 years of streaming.

The player then presented a video of excuses to the community, explaining why he was breaking the rules.

As you have heard, the young player did not necessarily regret his actions, but rather wanted to justify them. We do not blame him for his tact … he is only 12 years old.

In the video, you can hear the player's mother talking to him as he tries to get his message across. Naturally, she helped the player prepare his statement, but H1ghSky1 did a good job in providing the answer.

"I had to lie," said H1ghSky1 "I did not want to wait two more years."

This is a completely understandable feeling, but that does not excuse the rule violation. We do not suspect that Twitch lifts the ban as long as the player is not 13 years old. They can punish him for lying by extending the ban until old age.

Although H1ghSky1 is the direct culprit, the real dirt is in the hands of his parents and those of FaZe Clan. Both parties should have read and reviewed the guidelines of Fortnite & Twitch before allowing the reader to register and begin streaming.

In the video, the mother of H1ghSky1 can even be heard aggravate the situation by trying to justify the situation. "You are my genius," she said after the player finished his statement.

It is unfortunate that the player's world is shaken by the ban, but rules must be respected for the safety of young players. We would argue that telling your child that he is a "genius" for breaking effective rules is not a wise choice to become a parent.
