VERSAILLES, Mo. (KY3) – The FBI arrested a man from Versailles in connection with the January 6 riots at the United States Capitol.
Matthew Eugene Loganbill, 55, faces charges of obstructing congressional process, illegal entry and violent entry or disorderly conduct.
Investigators say two witnesses informed the FBI of Loganbill’s involvement. Witnesses claimed that social media posts linked him to participation in the Capitol riots on January 6. Investigators said he admitted entering the Capitol, but said he had never seen a sign and was unaware it was a tight space.
Investigators say Loganbill owns a gun store called Tooth and Nail Armory in Gravois Mills, Missouri.
