The FBI said they received advice from a former romantic partner whom she saw in a video.
The FBI is investigating whether a woman who allegedly participated in the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol stole a computer or hard drive from the office of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi with the intention of selling it to the service of Russian intelligence.
According to an FBI criminal complaint filed in federal court in Washington, DC on Sunday, a witness called the FBI with a clue that a Harrisburg, Pa. The complaint also contains links to videos from ITV, including one with an interview with a woman identified by ITV as Williams’ mother, who describes her daughter as “empathetic and loving.”
It comes as new images of alleged rioters on Senate floor have surfaced, including Jacob Chansley who authorities say can be seen wearing a fur-lined hat with horns, standing on the Senate dais where Vice President Mike Pence was seated prior to his evacuation.
According to court documents, Chansley left Pence a frightening note.
“It’s only a matter of time, justice is coming,” he wrote, according to court documents. The video appears to show him reading the note aloud.
Chansley pleaded not guilty and was detained pending trial.
In a video by The New Yorker’s Luke Mogelson, posted over the weekend, rioters and others are seen marching on the US Senate floor and suggesting that President Donald Trump wanted them there.
In another part, a rioter can be heard telling the Capitol Police officers, “You’re outnumbered! There are millions of us out there – and we’re listening to Trump – your boss.”
Jenna Ryan, a Texas real estate agency accused of illegal entry and disorderly conduct, also claimed she was acting at Trump’s request and wanted him to grant her a pardon.
“I didn’t feel a sense of guilt ashamed in my heart because of what I was doing. I thought I was following my president. I thought I was following what we were called to do,” she said. on the local news channel KTVT.
