It is… sure. Well at least on the way. Almost five months after AMC aired its mid-season finale, Fear the walking dead will return with the back half of Season 6 on Sunday April 11 (at 9 / 8c), the cable network announced Wednesday.

Not only that, but as our beleaguered protagonists prepare to take on the infamous Virginia and her Rangers, three new players will enter the fray, a trio played by John Glover (end of The good woman), Nick Stahl (Carnival) and Keith Carradine (Madam secretary). Additionally, one of the remaining nine episodes – Lucky # 13 – will be directed by Aisha Tyler, the Criminal minds alum who has already directed the installments of his old series and Roswell, New Mexico.
According to the show’s official connection, “As Morgan’s attempt to free the remaining members of the group grows bolder, Virginia grows more and more desperate to find her sister and protect the colonies from forces working inside and outside her walls.
In other words, most of them are on a collision course. “The second half of Season 6 reveals the impact of what life under Virginia’s control did to each person in this group, who once considered themselves family. New alliances will be formed, relationships will be destroyed, and loyalties changed forever. When everyone is forced to take sides, ”AMC continues,“ they discover the meaning of ‘The end is the beginning’ ”- the unsettling message that you will recall has been painted everywhere throughout the season.
