A call for medical assistance at Crystal Espinal's home and Kansas City Chiefs Receiver, Tyreek Hill, adds an additional element to the recent case involving the two children and their three-year-old son.
According to KCTV5's Angie Ricono, Hill called the first responders home on April 1 after seeing her child unattended.
"He sees a woman faint," said the dispatcher in the published audio. "The woman was watching the three-year-old son of the reporting group, the three-year-old girl walks around without anyone watching, the woman is seven months pregnant."
Espinal was pregnant with twins for seven months.
Meanwhile, Hill was staying in a hotel after receiving a noncontact order with his son.
This call took place four days before Espinal's loss of custody of his child during a hearing on April 5. After the hearing on April 17, none of the parents has custody of the child, which is entrusted to another family.
This comes after the child had a broken arm in January, for which Hill and Espinal were named in a March 5 report, and Espinal in another March 14 report.
Initially, the prosecutor had not lodged a complaint, but the department had reopened the investigation after discovering an audio cassette from Hill.
In the audio cassette, we hear Espinal tell his son "is terrified of "Hill, while he answered"You must also be terrified by me, b — h, "by Brooke Pryor of Kansas City Star.
Hill has been suspended from all team activities while leaders are waiting for more information.
