The woman, Dawn Bancroft, was indicted along with Diana Santos-Smith for violently entering the Capitol grounds, remaining in a restricted area and driving disorderly in a restricted building.

Homemade bombs found near the Capitol on January 6 were placed the night before, according to FBI

In an affidavit, investigators cited a “selfie” video they say was taken by Bancroft. Investigators say she was overheard saying, “We broke into the Capitol. … We entered, we did our part.”

“We were looking for Nancy to shoot her in the brain, but we couldn’t find her,” Bancroft says, according to the affidavit.

Santos-Smith told investigators that she and Bancroft did not enter any rooms or offices and the two were inside the Capitol for less than a minute.

CNN reached out to Bancroft and Santos-Smith for comment, but did not immediately respond. According to the Justice Ministry, the two women were arrested on Friday.
