A federal appeals judge has blocked the application of a New York City COVID-19 warrant, which is due to go into effect Monday, to teachers and other staff in the New York Department of Education.
Ahead of the judge’s action, it was reported that Education Ministry employees who had not yet received their first dose of the vaccine by Monday would be suspended without pay.

Regarding the decision, the Ministry of Education issued the following statement: “We are confident that our vaccine mandate will continue to be met once all the facts have been presented, as this is the level of protection we deserve. our students and staff.
