Felicity Huffman arrested by FBI agents and unsheathed

Felicity Huffman knew she was the target of the federal investigation into corruption in the college admissions process … but she did not know that 7 federals would arrive at her door on Tuesday morning with weapons to fire drawn.

Sources close to the arrest told TMZ that 7 FBI agents showed up at 6 am at Felicity's home in Hollywood Hills and drew their weapons to order Felicity to surrender.

We are told Felicity, her husband William H. Macy and their 2 daughters were asleep when the agents ordered him out. Our sources stated that she knew that the arrest was imminent and that she would have gladly surrendered, but the federal authorities interpreted things differently.

An FBI source informed of the arrest told TMZ that guns had been unsheathed as a precaution. It is always left to the discretion of the agents to shoot a firearm during an arrest.

The officers took Huffman to a federal building where she was treated by federal marshals.

As we reported, Huffman was charged for conspiracy to commit mail fraud and mail fraud related to honest services. According to the indictment, Huffman allegedly donated $ 15,000 to participate in a cheat ploy at the college entrance examination on behalf of his eldest daughter. The indictment states that the girl received twice as long as the other students to take the SAT test and that the paid supervisor agreed to secretly correct her answers thereafter.

The doctors say the girl scored 1,420, about 400 points higher than her PSAT.
