Felicity Huffman will be onscreen soon, according to a new report.
The ‘Desperate Housewives’ actress, who was caught up in the infamous college admissions scandal and ended up serving 11 days of her 14-day jail term due to her involvement, reportedly landed her first gig actress since her release from FCI Dublin last year.
By deadline, Huffman has signed on to star in an upcoming ABC comedy based on the life of Susan Savage, the owner of the Triple-A baseball franchise, the Sacramento River Cats.
The show’s name has remained untitled at this time, but the outlet reported on Monday that the show was introduced to Huffman by Kaplan Entertainment CEO Aaron Kaplan and would be written by Becky Hartman Edwards.

Meanwhile, “The Peanut Butter Falcon” Zack Gottsagen is also set to star alongside Emmy-winning Huffman, whose character unexpectedly takes on the role of majority owner of the River Cats following the death of her husband Art Savage in November. 2009.

The real Sacramento River Cats won a Triple-A National Championship last year and are currently the most valuable franchise in minor league baseball with a value of $ 49 million.
Huffman was released from jail in October 2019 and in addition to serving her sentence, the actress also received one year of probation, was ordered to perform 250 hours of community service and to pay a fine of $ 30,000.
