Ferrari Roma stuck in narrow Italian street

The Ferrari Roma is a beautifully designed V8 supercar. In fact, former Ferrari designer Frank Stephenson, who wrote the F430 and FXX, rated the grand tourer an impressive 9.5 out of 10 perfect, with the remaining 0.5 attributed to some design tweaks he’d like. see to make it perfect in his eyes. .

But that will not be the case in this particular unit spotted in Europe. In a video uploaded by SupercarNews on YouTube, a silver Ferrari Roma was caught in a sticky situation … literally. The Roma found themselves stranded in a narrow Italian street, visible in the video embedded at the top of this page.

We’re not entirely sure what happened, but it seems the driver here thought his Ferrari is narrower than the narrow lane. A painful sight, we have to say it, but we don’t think the driver here can blame anyone other than himself.

It should be noted that the Roma is not a small car. It is 1,974 millimeters (77.7 inches) wide and 4,656 mm (183.3 inches) long, making it as wide as the 488 Pista and two inches longer. Now we don’t have the exact width of the unknown alley in the video, but Italy is known for its small streets.

Although it is not really seen on the video, we believe that this Roma has already suffered damage from this ordeal. Deep scratches on the shoulders are very likely which will leave a huge gash not only on the car but also on the owner’s wallet.

We don’t know if the Roma have already left the alley (some say they are still there, trying to get out). All kidding aside, we hope the owner or driver is okay and their insurance can cover the damage.
