Ferrari SF90 Stradale Assetto Fiorano crash is not easy to watch

This poor Ferrari SF90 equipped with the Stradale Assetto Fiorano package suffered an unfortunate accident. The top-of-the-line Ferrari supercar was on its way to Ventimiglia, Italy, where it met an unhappy end. Varryx, Instagram user and Ferrari connoisseur, shares the terrible consequences of this accident. With this Ferrari SF90 live to see another day? We sure hope so.

The Ferrari SF90 is the result of the trickle-down engineering of the La Ferrari hypercar. While the SF90 doesn’t have La Ferrari’s sensational V12, it uses similar hybrid technology to make the SF90 one of the most powerful Ferraris ever built.

The SF90 is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that develops 769 horsepower (573 kilowatts). This monstrous V8 is supported by a trio of electric motors with a total output of 217 horsepower (161 kilowatts) for a combined output of 986 horsepower (735 kilowatts). Two of the three electric motors are located on the front axle, making the SF90 an all-wheel-drive supercar ready to take you to the next dimension. Ferrari claims a 0-60 time of just 2.5 seconds; however, many testers saw acceleration figures much lower than this bold claim.

The base finish of the SF90 starts at around $ 500,000 with hundreds of thousands of dollars of options available to customers looking to customize this Ferrari to their specific needs. One of those packages is the Assetto Fiorano package which adds carbon fiber wheels, titanium exhaust, Multimatic shocks and a larger carbon fiber rear spoiler.

Unfortunately, the SF90 featured on Varryx’s Instagram doesn’t look fresh. His brush with the concrete barrier damaged this incredible machine considerably but considering the value of the car most of it is not totaled and will return to Ferrari for repairs.
