Playism and developer Nocras revealed Tasomachi: behind the twilight will come to PC through Steam. The announcement was made during Game Dev Direct on March 13, 2021. The title is a 3D platformer inspired by Far Eastern culture, developed by a background artist on Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. Tasomachi: behind the twilight will launch on PC via Steam in Spring 2021.

Described as a relaxed 3D platformer game, players will explore the world, collect items, and walk through platform sections in Tasomachi: behind the twilight. Players will take control of Yukumo, whose airship breaks down and crashes in a mysterious city where she will have to hunt for resources. Yukumo will collect items to repair and upgrade his ship, then fly through the skies and explore the world. Check out the screenshots and a trailer for the title below.

Passionate fans will recognize that the art direction of this title looks like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The reason is the developer of Tasomachi: behind the twilight provided 2D artwork and production artwork for the Nintendo title. Additionally, developer Nocras was a background artist on Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, provided concept art for Xenoblade Chronicles 2, and worked on the design of the terrain map for Pokemon Sword and Shield. Published by Playism, this will be Nocras’ first indie game.

Tasomachi: behind the twilight will be released in Spring 2021 on PC via Steam. The title will support Japanese, English and Chinese texts.
