A 200-person unlicensed fight club in New York City was disbanded by sheriffs on Saturday night, local officials and reports said.

The “Rumble in the Bronx” attendees were discovered drinking, smoking and fighting – but not socially distanced at the event, according to NBC New York.

At around 11:15 p.m., New York sheriffs entered a warehouse on Coster Street and found the crowd watching and participating in the fighting, NBC New York reported.

“Customers have also been observed drinking alcohol, smoking, hookah and not wearing face coverings while lacking social distancing,” the sheriff’s office said in a statement, according to NBC New York.

In one Tweeter, the New York sheriff said loaded guns were discovered and 10 organizers were charged with multiple crimes.

“A significant amount of marijuana” has also been discovered, according to NBC New York.

Michael Roman, CEO of Rumble in the Bronx, faces eight counts, including unlawful assembly and conduct of a prohibited combat sport, NBC New York reported.

Roman’s organization has an active social media presence, and on Saturday they were promoting a mask-less event in Orlando in December, according to NBC New York.

It was not immediately clear whether Roman had retained the services of a lawyer. The New York sheriff did not immediately identify the other people arrested.
