FRESNO, Calif. – A brawl in a driveway escalated into a stabbing and shooting on Saturday night in downtown Fresno.
Fresno police said the fight involved several people. At one point, a suspect took out a knife and scraped someone with it. Another suspect took out his gun and opened fire.
"We know that at least one round has been fired, maybe eight," said Lt. Tim Teijen. "We do not know if they shot in the air or in the crowd, we did not find any additional victims."
The officers say that no one was shot. The victim was treated at the scene.
The Fresno police investigate the cause of the fight and seek to locate the people involved.
