Final Fantasy VII remake

Following a number of Square Enix trademark listings that were made public last month regarding Final Fantasy VII Remake, the term “Ever Crisis” has now been extended to also cover the United States. It was registered six days ago and now means the brand covers Japan, Europe, Canada and Australia as well as America. There is no word on Square Enix’s other recent brands (“The First Soldier” and the Shinra logo) at the time of writing.

However, there is now another brand to accompany these three. Now recorded in Europe, the United States and Australia, “The Isle Dragon Roars” has fans speculating whether it is related to the recent PlayStation 4 remake or the upcoming Nintendo Switch title Bravely Default II . We’ll have to wait and see what happens with that one.

Either way, there’s a chance that news of Final Fantasy VII Remake will be shared this weekend as part of a digital concert in Japan. Game co-director Motomu Toriyama teased a “special schedule” relating to last year’s remake. “There will be a few things related to Final Fantasy VII Remake that won’t be revealed until this gig.” However, this translation has been disputed since its publication by Gematsu. The event takes place on February 13, 2021, so everything will be revealed soon.
