Square Enix posted Final Fantasy VIII Remastered for iOS via the App Store and Android via Google Play. It’s currently on sale for $ 16.99 until April 4, after which the price will drop to $ 20.99.
Final Fantasy VIII Remastered First launched on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam in September 2019.

It is a time of war.
The Republic of Galbadia, under the influence of the witch Edea, mobilizes its great armies against the other nations of the world.
Squall and other members of SeeD, an elite mercenary force, team up with resistance fighter Rinoa to fight Galbadia’s tyrannical rule and prevent Edea from reaching her ultimate goal.
■ Main characteristics
- Guardian Force (GF) – GF are creatures summoned in Final Fantasy VIII used to protect the protagonists. Call them into battle to unleash their might and increase their might alongside player characters. By joining GF, players will be able to enjoy greater freedom in the way they approach battles.
- Drawing – Get magic by Final Fantasy VIII drawing it (extracting it) in combat. MP does not exist and players are limited to the number they have in their possession. The magic that has been extracted can be released on site or stored for later use.
- Junction – This system allows players to equip GF and store characters’ magic in order to increase their power.
■ Additional features
- Combat aid – Maximize HP and ATB gauge during battle and activate breaking limits at any time.
- No meeting – Players can choose to enable or disable combat encounters.
- Speed 3x – With the exception of some cutscenes, players can choose to continue the game at 3x speed.

Entering or exiting vehicles such as cars and the garden can sometimes lock your character between the vehicle and terrain features, or freeze the vehicle in place. This seems to happen more often when you leave your vehicle near impassable terrain, or when you try to get in or out of your vehicle during certain scheduled events. Currently, the only solution to this problem is to reload a previously saved game, so be sure to save your progress often.
Some places can be difficult to navigate using Speed Boost (x3). We recommend that you turn off this feature in such cases.
