What is Final Fantasy VIII Remastered?
Final Fantasy VIII Remastered tells an epic and emotional story about war and love. The militarized nation of Galbadia has formed an alliance with the witch Edea in order to conquer the world. In the middle of the conflict, Squall Leonhart and a group of comrades from the mercenary group of Balamb Garden, SeeD, engage in the conflict.
With his friends, Squall joins Rinoa Heartilly, a member of a resistance group, in an adventure that balances the fate of their world.
This remastered edition of the game enhances the original adventure with exciting new features:
- Improved visuals: Several characters, enemies, GF and objects have been refined to look more beautiful than ever.
- Battle Assist: Activate this booster to maximize HP and ATB bars – and trigger Limits Break at any time. You will lose all your HP when you are hit by a critical attack that deals more damage than HP or lethal damage.
- No meetings: Do you want to explore without fear of attack? Enable this option to disable random encounters. Battles still need to be organized to move the story forward.
- Boost speed 3x: Accelerate time by a factor of three – ideal if you want to speed up easy battles or get somewhere fast. This feature will not apply to certain scenes, including movies.
