There’s a new Final Fantasy XIV expansion coming later this year, but first we have a few details to work out. The third and final installment of the Deny– a themed raiding series and the first of a two-part story update leading to this autumn Endwalker expansion arrives on April 13, alongside the open beta of the PlayStation 5 version of the game.

  • Ishgard Restoration Update – The local sections of the Firmament will periodically organize Feasts to celebrate the completion of the restoration.
  • Update of “Explorer Mode” – Explorer mode functionality will be extended to include additional dungeons. Explorer Mode allows players to explore safe dungeons to capture vivid and fun screenshots while allowing the use of mounts and minions. Players will also be able to use performance actions in dungeons, such as playing musical instruments.
  • Updates to performance shares – Players will now be able to switch instruments at any time during performance, and a new instrument will be added.
  • Task adjustments for PvE and PvP actions, New custom deliveries, updated sea fishing, new mounts and more.
