Final Fantasy XV: Episode Ardyn Gets Story, Character and Gameplay Details with New Screen Shots

We recently had to check an anime prologue for Final Fantasy XV 's coming soon Episode Ardyn DLC. Square Enix shared the latest screenshots and the latest DLC details, including information on its history and unique gameplay.

The frame is 35 years before the events of Final Fantasy XV 's main story. Verstael Besithia, researcher at the Empire of Niflheim, releases Ardyn Lucis Caelum from his 2,000 years in prison. Ardyn is taken to the lab, where he discovers a certain truth and swears revenge for Lucis's kingdom.

You will see characters appearing in Final Fantasy XV 's main story, but as themselves for several decades. Several characters will appear, such as Aera Mils Fleuret, the beloved of Ardyn, and his brother Somnus Lucis Caelum.

Verstael Besithia

Aera was chosen as the first oracle that links humanity to the gods. She and Ardyn were deeply in love with each other.

The 113th King of Lucis and the father of Noctis. He is dedicated to protecting the kingdom from the many invasions of the empire.

Somnus Lucis Caelum

The younger brother of Ardyn and the man who will eventually become the first king of Lucis. Also known as "mystic". He took the throne after imprisoning his elder brother, Ardyn, who became a demon.

In Episode Ardyn players will be able to test a whole new system using Daemon's powers like Ardyn.

Using the power of the demon, Ardyn can fly freely on the map at high speed. By using Shadow Move, he is able to reach different points of the map.

Ardyn has a special power that allows him to turn enemies into demons. By achieving five consecutive hits as a final attack, he can execute a Daemonify technique that consists of killing a shot. This can also be done by stepping back attacks. Having said that, using the ability to move shadow to sneak behind enemies is a good strategy.

Final Fantasy XV is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Episode Ardyn released on March 26, 2019. A novel entitled "The dawn of the future will also be released in Japan on April 25, 2019 and plans to release later in the West.
